Hi and welcome to the June 2019 Blog Income Report!
On these business income reports, I show you exactly where I made money online last month. This is the seventh monthly income report for Be Passionate and Prosper.
What this Online Income Report Is…
My goal here is to disclose what is working and what isn’t working as possible online income streams. This blog income report will also be used as a journal to record my monthly income from all my side hustles. I guess you could say my income comes from a bunch of small businesses now.
My entrepreneurial journey started while I was working and going to college. I started my first side hustle back then, and once I got a taste of what it was like to have my own business, I never looked back!
I worked my way from a negative bank account to owning a very successful online business. Much of the success of that first business can be attributed to putting together a user-friendly website and sharing as much useful information as I could with my audience. As I learned to connect with them, my online business grew exponentially year upon year.

How to quickly grow your own blog or online business
The internet is constantly evolving and if you listen to your ideal client carefully, they will tell you the next moves to make online with your business.
The fastest way I was able to grow my very first online business was by being an affiliate for various products. The beauty in being an affiliate is you don’t have to take the time to create a product yourself. Creating new products is very time consuming AND it’s difficult to know whether a product is viable.
To decide which affiliate products to start with, I simply paid attention to which blog posts were doing well and what questions my audience asked. Then I started recommending products and services that I use myself.
If you are new to blogging and trying to make an income, I highly recommend thinking about what products or services your audience might like to learn more about. You are probably already using a product or service that can be an affiliate link on your site!

Coaching was another way we made money online fast
Another way I was able to quickly add extra income to my online business was by adding coaching as a service. This post details how we added coaching to our blog easily. It is one of our most popular posts to date.
My husband and I started the Be Passionate and Prosper blog because we love sharing tips about frugal living, money mindset, saving, budgeting, investing, and of course making money through side hustles and online businesses. Adding a coaching service to our blog allowed us to get to know our audience even more.
If you have your own blog or online business (or you are ready to start one), coaching is a service you can add on right away. You can start coaching people in just about anything! If you have been through some major change in your life, and come out on the other side a better person, you can coach!
Online Income Report June 2019
I earned $1395.28 online and blogging in June 2019 before expenses.
June was another great month for my total earnings from my blogs. My traffic continues to grow on these blogs, and I’m seeing huge spikes in traffic coming from Pinterest. I am also getting faster at designing Pins in Canva. I’ve been testing out different “opt-ins” and placing them in the posts receiving the most traffic. This was a great technique I’m learning from the blogging course I’m taking. When I’ve completed the course, I’ll write a review and share the details about the course.
I signed up for Tailwind a few months ago to help with automation of my Pinterest posts. Tailwind is also helping me see which Pins are performing the best. And my goal for July and August 2019 is to continue linking up affiliate links in my posts to create some passive income!
I completed my bigger goal of creating my first course to help others start their own business online. The course is called Be Passionate and Prosper and can be found by clicking here. This course details how you can create a business you love and the various ways you can earn money.

Anyway, to get back to the monthly online income report…
The numbers for this month were close to last month, and this was due to me focusing on coaching. I’m in the process of doing my first ever product launch which includes my course with live interaction. I’m excited to see how the launch goes and to try coaching in bigger groups online. I’m very excited about this next step. I’ve been outlining my launch sequence and getting ready to test it out in July. I believe coaching is a great way to work from home or anywhere. I enrolled in a few blogging courses to up my game a bit. I also started an SEO course so I can increase traffic coming from search engines. I’m excited to get the ball rolling with this blog and share as much as I can about starting a business, saving money and getting your financial life in order. I know money is a major cause of stress for so many people. I’m hoping to provide a space for people to come and share their financial successes and ideas! I am very excited about the potential for this new blog.
Free Blog Tutorial
If you are interested in creating a blog of your own, check out this free tutorial that will help you start a blog of your own. It walks you through getting a self hosted site through the same company we use. Right now, you can get a self hosted site through this link for around $2.75 per month. When you sign up, you will also get a free domain name (you get to pick a name for your site!). Getting your own self hosted site means you own the site (no one can ever take it down or take it away from you). If you have been wanting to make money online with a blog or website, this is the first step. In a year from now, you will be so glad you started this for yourself! The sooner you get going the better!

Total: $1395.28
The income amount above is for the month of June. The Blog Income Report June 2019 shows fees taken out from Paypal and Square. I have minor expenses for my newsletter service with Mailchimp and from my host provider to pay for domain names I have purchased. After expenses and fees, I earned approximately $1385.28
Also keep in mind that I work for myself so this means I have to cover taxes (which can be around 30%. Usually they are less than this because of write-offs). There are also insurance costs and all the other benefits and expenses that come with being self employed.
Blog News
The Be Passionate and Prosper Blog is finally gaining traffic. I’m excited about the topics and content for this particular blog. Entrepreneurship and Investing are near and dear to my heart. I’ve been a business owner since I was a teen and had great success. Sharing this info feels like my way of paying it forward. I look forward to sharing monthly online income reports as I dedicate my efforts to blogging exclusively over the next few months.
I have some blog goals for next month like partnering up with some affiliates to bring in products that have helped me in my blogging business! These tips will hopefully help you get up and running as well.

Site Traffic Updates
My traffic to my two established blogs, www.SweetiePieAndCupcakes.com and www.BePassionateAndProsper.com is hitting records month after month. The SweetiePie site continues to have spikes in traffic as people search for recipes. The burst in traffic last month was mostly due to one of my Pinterest pins going viral. This particular pin was for my Easy Almond Puff Pastry recipe. The picture has that clean look with the white background that seems to be really popular for branding right now. I’ll be experimenting with photos more to see what works and what doesn’t.
I’m also excited about experimenting with Tailwind again. I tried it out a year ago and didn’t really stick with it. I signed up to give it another shot and I’m sticking to a posting plan of about 5 top pins a day for all of the blogs.
In the next month or two, I am going to be dedicating more time to the blogs and mapping out some course ideas to do live on Facebook. I’d love your feedback and ideas.
