I thought it was a very difficult process, and I thought I needed to have more writing experience before I could be published. But Susie guides you step-by-step through the process of clarifying your identity, finding publications that are a match to your message, pitching to them, and then writing the article.
Before this course, I also thought you had to craft an amazing piece first, but Susie teaches you the methods to get noticed by editors before you waste time writing a lengthy article. This saved me tons of time and effort because I was going about getting published all wrong!

One of my favorite things about the Five Minutes to Famous course is Susie provides scripts for pitching. These scripts serve as a great template when you are new to pitching! I was able to take these templates and create pitches with more confidence. This in itself was worth the whole course price! She even shows you how to find editors to media outlets that are a match to your niche, and she covers the best ways to submit your pitch to them.
Real life interviews with editors who share what they are looking for in a writer!
Perhaps the greatest bonus to the Five Minutes to Famous Course are the real life interviews with editors of major publications. Many of them spill the beans on what they are really looking for in a writer. It was great to hear firsthand from seasoned editors about what they suggest you do to gain their trust and become noticed. For example, one editor shared that it’s important to allow the editor to guide you and give you feedback about what they are looking for. This was a huge ah-ha for me. And honestly, it gave me a huge sense of relief to find out all I need to do is be brave and submit a well thought-out pitch, and then let the editor decide if the piece is a good fit.
Having gone through the course, I now have a clearer sense of who to submit to and how to do that easily. Before this, the process felt very overwhelming and daunting. I was just flat out scared to submit a pitch. But now, I am pitching to major publications in my niche and getting published. Many of these publications allow me to have a byline underneath my post pointing readers back to my website. These published articles are working for me day and night while I continue doing what I do best, run my online business.

Susie gives you the tools and steps to become clear about your celebrity identity AND she shows you how to grab the attention of editors at MAJOR media sites. Then she shows you how to submit to these publications so you have a better chance of getting noticed and selected. Finally, she gives you the steps to create unique content for these outside media sites. I mean, she basically shows you everything you need to GO BIG very quickly. When you have that kind of knowledge, you simply just feel more empowered to take action. I have used these tools many times over, and it’s paying off!
Connect with the world instantly-
One of the most useful things about this course is it provides you with a faster way of connecting with a bigger audience. I was using very traditional methods like Pinterest and SEO to gain traffic. But with the Five Minutes to Famous course, I was being shown a whole new way. When taking this course, one of the things that really spoke to me as a coach and online business owner was the importance of building authority and trust. Susie suggests that being published in a major publication, either in print or online, gives you INSTANT authority. This is something that SEO and Pinterest cannot do for you. I’m not saying they aren’t important, they certainly have their place in the blogging and online world. But if you are trying to prove to a potential client that you are credible, being published in major publications like Forbes, Entrepreneur, or MindBodyGreen (depending on your niche), can bring you instant notoriety.
